[Straits Times] Writer of the week

WHO: Colin Loh Yoon Fui, 52, self-employed in the health and wealth tourism industry.

MY FAMILY: Married to a senior accountant, 49, with no children.

MY HOME: A condominium apartment in Simei.

MY PASSIONS: Travelling, reading and computer gaming.

I FIRST STARTED WRITING TO THE FORUM PAGE...: Last August.

WHAT I WRITE ABOUT: Various topics, including housing, transport, the silver industry, employment, social issues and current affairs.

WHY I WRITE: I am concerned about the issues that I write about and would like to share my views with Singaporeans.

I READ THE FORUM PAGE BECAUSE...: It allows me to have a fairly good sense of how Singaporeans think and how we Singaporeans want Singapore's future to evolve.

MY WISH FOR SINGAPORE: For our society to be more inclusive and tolerant of different lifestyles (be it dining/living habits or sexual orientation).

I also wish for Singapore's middle class to flourish so that there is something for Singaporeans to aspire to. To borrow Liverpool Football Club's motto, Singapore's slogan should be "You'll Never Walk Alone".
