I HAVE noticed that many postmen on scooters are carrying far too much mail.
Usually, the metal box on the back of the scooter is overflowing, and the cover is left open.
Many postmen also have one or two bags of mail hanging by the side of their scooters. These bags could easily catch on passing vehicles, causing the postman to be thrown off the scooter.
SingPost should replace scooters with three-wheel motorcycles, which have more storage space than scooters.
