THERE is a common scene on our roads that is potentially hazardous.
When a traffic light turns green at a junction, allowing motorists to make a left or right turn, the pedestrian lights on the side roads also turn green. If either party - motorists or pedestrians - is not alert, an accident can easily occur.
Strict action should be taken against impatient motorists who tailgate, as well as drivers of heavy vehicles which hog the middle lane.
