[Today] Why do schools use so much paper in digital age?

With the increasing ownership of smart devices, I am puzzled why institutes of learning still use so much paper in their teaching and correspondence.

Is there a strong need to have a dedicated photocopying service within the premises? Students learn from what they see in their daily lives.

For the next generation to be our new eco-warriors, schools must endure short-term inconvenience to drive home the importance of not wasting resources.

The ball is in the court of school administrators and leaders. I hope they do not shy away from setting the way forward.
