RECENTLY, I attended an annual general meeting. The food was distributed by way of a nice box, with assorted cakes and pastries inside, as well as a bottled drink.
All this was contained within a carrier bag given to each individual shareholder ("Annual general meetings: Don't let food cause disruptions" by Mr Alan Ng Soon Hock; Monday).
The shareholders happily took the carrier bags with the cakes and pastries home, thus obviating the potential disruption and exhibition of gluttony by some shareholders.
