WE THANK Mr Lee Yong Se for his feedback ("Unauthorised deduction from SRS account"; Forum Online, Thursday).
There are no transfer charges for Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) accounts between the banks.
We have explained this to Mr Lee and clarified that the charges were not imposed by the bank, but by another organisation.
However, as part of our continuous drive to enhance our customers' experience, we have noted that adding a clause on our website to notify customers of potential charges imposed by external parties would be useful.
We will look into implementing this.
