I STILL see quite a few Singapore-registered cars with tinted windows that definitely will not meet the legal specifications.
Could the Land Transport Authority (LTA) say how many car owners were fined last year for failing to meet these specifications?
If any car fails to meet the specifications on tinted windows, the LTA should go after the vendors who supply the shades for the tinted windows.
Surely, these vendors know their products would not meet specifications, yet they still hawk these wares.
